It was another great annual get growing event on the weekend of the 4th and 5th of June 2016. Thankyou to all the visitors who came to explore the gardens and all the volunteers that helped out to make it a great success. We had all sorts activities going on including scarecrow making with Alistair , mini beast hunting with Mick, mini magic gardens with Helen and sign paintings for the garden with Kate. There was alot of growing going on too ,with visitors planting leeks and vegetables and to name but a few volunteers -Kim was hard at work getting the tomatoes in and Sally planting strawberries. A huge plant Sale run by Ludmilla and Sally raised a great amount too which will be put back into the garden to buy seeds for next year. We hope next year can be just as successful.
