The garden is open to everyone from 10:00 to 14:00 on Wednesdays and Saturdays all year round, also on Mondays when the clocks change to Summer Time). . You are welcome to take a walk around, sit in the sun and just relax.
Equally if you’d like to get involved and volunteer you will receive a great welcome, a careful briefing of what is involved and the opportunity to become a member of the garden. You don’t have to come every week or stay for the whole session. You will be greeted by a volunteer coordinator who will tell you what you need to know and help you find a job to do. We stop for tea mid morning.
Do come and see for yourself.

Our Next Event

Come along to see our wonderful range of locally made and Fairtrade crafts. Also on sale will be plants grown by our volunteers, ‘Found in the Attic’ treasures and second-hand books.  Entry is free and our pop-up Café will be open for tea, coffee and homemade cakes. The outdoor Café terrace overlooks our beautiful walled garden, dating from about 1800, so don’t forget to take a stroll around.

This is a popular event so come early, with plenty of cash and bags to buy the best bargains, and delicious cakes before they run out! Some stall holders, but not all, will take card payments.

Have you some spare time? You could be tempted to join us as a Garden Volunteer.  All ages and fitness levels welcome and no experience needed.  We look forward to seeing you.
