A large area of the bottom of the garden has been cleared for exciting projects such as a wildflower meadow.

The bottom south-facing wall has been cleared , fruit trees and a bedding border of plants have been planted which should hopefully look stunning when it springs into life!

The propagation greenhouse has been re glazed with glass which is great to have such a large space to start all the seedling growing.

The large greenhouse has also had glass replaced , a space that is ready for a new exciting project and houses some of the garden sculptures in that were made by Pete.

So much has already happened this year it will be exciting to see how the garden progresses and see it burst into life throughout the rest of the year!

Pictures by Helen showing the pictorial Meadow. All that hard work removing the stubborn grass and preparing the soil I think we can all agree paid off. There has been a great burst of colour for weeks now, situated right next to the Bee hives by ‘Be the change’ project these flowers will be a great nectar source for the honey bees at the moment.

Here are some shots taken by Helen of the progress on the pond. Mick .T , Pete and individuals have been very hard at work creating two ponds , this will be a great value to nature at the garden and situated next to the temporary pictorial meadow will be a lovely place to come relax at the garden.
